School Year & Hours of Operation

MWS is in session for 37 weeks from September to mid-June. We open in  September after Labor Day, close one week earlier than LPS for December vacation, and close for the summer the last week of the regular LPS calendar. Teachers & Assistants

We have 8 lead teachers teaching our eight classes--all DEEC certified, first aid and CPR certified. Population Served

MWS can enroll 115 children from approximately 100 families. About half our students are from Lexington, a third from Bedford, and the rest from other nearby communities.  Many families have come to us from abroad, having moved to the Lexington area for school or business.
